The Point Men (2023)

In a harrowing turn of events, a Taliban extremist group seized a group of unsuspecting Korean tourists in Afghanistan, leaving the Korean government scrambling to respond. Ambassador Jae Ho, renowned for his exceptional diplomatic prowess, was dispatched to the region to negotiate the safe release of the hostages. Upon his arrival, he reached out to the Afghan government, leveraging every available resource to secure the captives' freedom. Despite his tireless efforts, fate had other plans. As his attempts at liberation proved futile, Jae Ho was compelled to collaborate with Dae Sik, a seasoned special agent with an intimate understanding of the Middle East. As they devised a plan to infiltrate Taliban strongholds, the first hostage fell victim to the deadly standoff. With time running out and options dwindling, the two former adversaries found themselves bound together in a desperate bid to rescue the remaining hostages, their lives hanging precariously in the balance.
