Yu Na is a female influencer with morals as flexible as yoga positions, ready to throw her principles under a truck for a quick buck. By giving her followers exactly what they (think they) want, she’s built an empire based on likes, donations and juicy contracts for different brands. But being successful and filthy rich can get tiring sometimes.

So tonight, at yet another launch for a cosmetics brand, she knocks back a couple of vodka shots and heads home early. But when she wakes up, her bed is a little bit harder than usual, and the ceiling’s really low. And it’s dark. And it reeks of gasoline. It is a bit like the trunk of a car, actually. And when the car starts moving, her phone rings.

On the other end of the line, a charming stranger unravels the program of the night: Yu Na has until midnight to launch a live stream from the trunk of the car and raise a million in cash on her channel. If she fails to do so, she’ll end up on the wrong side of an industrial grinder. Unfortunately, her followers seem to take the whole thing for a bad-taste publicity stunt…

The film is about those who survived in a city that went to ruins after a massive earthquake destroyed all the concrete.

Young Tak is a leader who works to protect Hwang Goong Apartment from outsiders. Min Sung is a salaryman who gets chosen to assist Young Tak and becomes increasingly bold as he encounters crises. Myung Hwa is Min Sung’s wife and former nurse, a warm character who cares for those who are hurt in dangerous situations.

People hear predictions on when they will die. When that time comes, a death angel appears in front of them and kills them. Jung Jin Soo is the head of the new religion Saejinrihwe. He speaks about the phenomenon when death angels from Hell come and state it’s a revelation from God. Jung Jin Soo has intense charisma and a mysterious aspect. Bae Young Jae is a program director for a broadcasting station. He tries to dig out the truth about the religious group Saejinrihwe. Min Hye Jin is a lawyer. She stands up against the group “Hwasalchok” (‘Arrowhead’), which consists of people who blindly follow Saejinrihwe. Song So Hyun is Bae Young Jae’s wife.
